Currently the only way to avoid Dry Loop fees with TekSavvy is to get the TekTalk Unlimited plan, which has a promo with free dry loop. And the reason they offer the ZyXel for the 15/1 plan is because they are just using it for ADSL2+.ģ. Although if your area is on a Stinger then you would have to use either a Sagemcom or Cellpipe. You can certainly use a different VDSL modem, but you would still have to pay the rental fee.
